Green beans

Blanche and freeze the green beans, So Lucky. Then use them in soup when you have enough stuff for a good soup. I do that with cauliflower, broccoli, green peas, green beans, carrots, and whatever else Im forgetting, then when I have potatoes, tomatoes, corn, kale, chard, and whatever, I can quarts of soup.

On nights when we are running late we open a quart of soup, put some cooked chicken in it (which I have plenty in the freezer), break out the cheese and crackers, and we have a good easy quick meal.

Yes, I guess in a soup or stew they would be OK from frozen. I will just do that, and freeze them in small bunches.

With our last harvest, if theres not enough to fill a canner load we freeze ours. When we can our green beans we put potatoes and ham in with the green beans :D oooo it's so good!!!
