Doesn't it seem a shame that they let those tomatoes go ..?

Oh well, we can learn something ... even if we can only glance quickly at what begins to happen past Day #63.

It is a shame. I wouldn't wait that long just to let them ruin. What a waste...

Mine are FINALLY starting to turn red. Maybe another week? I hope so.

Even though I have been buying all of my tomatoes from the farmer's market, I am ready to eat my own!

Nighttime temps are critical for ripening...too cold or too hot = green tomatoes. But once night temps fall in the goldilocks zone...bam...ripe tomatoes. If you can't wait any longer pick a mature tomato and put it in a paper bag with an Apple. The ethylene gas from the Apple will ripen the tomato.
