A new raised bed?
Bingo! Instead of that hodgepodge of 3 tiny ones I will have one 4x10. I am tired of squeezing in between the current bed and the iron gates leaning against the steps.

I may be small but I'm not that small especially when the bed has full grown plants. We just used regular wood instead of redwood which would have been too expensive. I asked my husband how long it would last and he said "Until you change your mind". :p

@ninnymary your backyard looks really nice. A new raised bed will look great there. Your hubby is right it will last plenty long enough until you want to update.
