For many years I was the treasurer at our church. When we got a new Chairman of the Finance Committee, I warned him. I come home from the gym and after my shower I go straight to my jammies. You are welcomed to come anytime unannounced but just don't expect to see me all dressed up and with my makeup on. It was a an on going joke that he forewarned others what to expect, haha.

Bay when I opened the door I don't know whose jaw dropped lower mine or 4 Troopers. We just looked at each other for what seemed like forever.

What a hoot! Must have been a new guy on the job at ADT. Wouldn't it make more sense if you gave the wrong safe word? Or maybe they need to set you up with an UN-safe word too, just to be clear.

I would have been hard pressed to open the door in that state! Maybe you should have offered them a glass of wine to calm their nerves.

New alarm pad has panic icon: touch and police automatically called. I punched the pad a few times in fustration must of hit panic button.
