Good for you!
That should make you feel better!

Awesome plants you ordered.
I did not think Asparagus grew in such zones.
I was always told they needed cold to produce.

I hope they get there soon for you.

"Larger, sweeter and tastier spears than green types. Stalks turn green when cooked."

vfem, Of COURSE you were suckered. They spoke to you like a lover, promising the purple moon.

I think it is called Snuckered when you do it to yourself! LOL

Suckered would be more in line if they tricked you into buying, but then again, they do that! LOL :gig :gig

Awesome to be so good to yourself :throw This can be called Smuckered, as in the Jam! LOL :ya

V, where did you see a free shipping deal for Gurneys? I went to their web site and didn't find that, but I did see a $25.00 off on a $50.00 order.

If you look at the VERY top of Gurney's homepage (the yellow banner) it says right on it Free shipping on orders over $20. So use that $25 off $50 coupon and still get free shipping!!! It atomatically gives you the shipping off at check out, you don't have to enter ANYTHING!

I just really want asparagus, and I'm going to plant more berries.... I just can't help it! I think perennial fruit/veggie plants are the way to go. So worth the $$ and time in the long run... I think our fruit trees were the best investment EVER!

V, that's exactly what I did, But when I got to checkout it knocked off the $25.00 but still added shipping.
I'll go back there in a bit and look around some more.

I had an issue with infected plants in the spring from them (Strawberries) but they replaced them all super fast without question. That was my only order I ever had with them!
