Those images make me want to do this :smack

I remember one time when I was married to my ex husband, there was a Tornado confirmed on the ground less than 3 miles from my moms house, which is where we were staying at the time, and he and my neighbor decided that it was a good idea to stand on the porch and WATCH it. I kept saying "GET IN HERE!!" but nooooooo!! :rant

:hide I am glad I live where tonadoes earthquakes and hurricains are rear...I wonder how people can live in those areas and not have a storm cellar...

Tornadoes aren't actually very common this far south. The last one in my area was nearly 50 years ago. It COULD happen though, and we need a root cellar anyway, so we might as well build one.

I love spring here, but I also dread it - tornadoes are a common thing here. I just keep an eye on the weather and have my shoes, my purse and my dogs collars on and leashes ready. We are usually at my mom and dads house before it gets real bad.
