My neighbor gave me some huge pumpkin/squash this winter. Not sure what kind. For grins, I put the seeds in a few places in the gardnen. These three plants are going crazy!

I am growing them along the cothesline. It is growing about 6 inches a day!

Did you train or tie them upward? How strong does the trellies, fence have to be for that, I wonder? Maybe I should grow some around the chix pen for shade. My cows LOVE pumpkins!!

They are growing up "Stock wire" fencing, and the clothes line is plastic coated wire. I am thinking of usng old Pantyhose as support for the squash ... I am hoping that will stretch as the squash grows.

Nice! If they turn out to be really big squash or pumpkins, and they form up there, you may want to support them with something more substantial like a tall stool or a wood platform.
