I am sure that vfem & her husband will work at the pace they feel comfortable with & get their priorities sorted out -- House & Garden!
I have learnt this the hard way over the years! Those with devoted & handy DH's have wonderful partners in big projects & can achieve their goals faster. Unfortunately I was a bad picker, never found a man who could put up a shelf that stayed on the wall for longer than a week......!!
I ended up going to a tech college to do a carpentry/ furniture restoration course for a year because I ran out of patience.
Good luck with all your projects in both house & garden! Both are important for a Happy Home!
