Great Ideas and I love the compost barrel!
Oh oh and the door off the wood stove. the fun I could have with that.
first would wire brush off all the rust. then before doing anything else get a sheet of nice paper and do a charcoal rubbing. spray with acrylic for charcoal then frame in a glass frame.
Instant Special wall art.
A keepsake to pass down with the generations.
Oh I hate it when I find something that wont fit in my vehicle been there went out and bought a truck just for such "just in case's".
poor hubby never knows what I might lug home from a trip to the recycling center.
I have lugged home
drying racks, for clothes man are those expensive to buy
thermal pane windows
glass top patio set complete with chairs
wheel barrels
floor lamps
table lamps
canning jars, again expensive to buy new
still useable plywood.
Cat and Dog crates,(pressure washed and donated to rescue and shelters.
large plastc barns, for dogs or small farm animals. some kept some donated.
Yes grocery store tubs are a wonderfull thing..
I drill holes in the bottom for nest boxes for my pigeons.
from the feed store they save me the wood Holland Bulb crates ( ply wood) those I use fro the rabbits nest boxes.
broken bags of potting soil at a deep discount.
all the gone over plant hangers and tubs, ( although this year they have a better garden coordinator and lost very few).
All it takes is a few minutes with the Manager of most stores to reap the benifits of throw away materials. well worth the few minutes to ask.
