Okay,

I'm wondering if I have any with blunt tips, Nyboy.

She is a terripoo and looks like a little Scotty if it is done right.

Steve
doesn't know if he can do it right . . . & had better know if he can do it safely.

Faces are very tough to trim! Charlie our llaso apso has been getting his hairs cut by me...clipper and scissor trim. We've had him since March...and i'm starting to get a little better, but he still looks embarrassing sometimes! Oh well, better than paying for a groomer. But Charlie is EXCEPTIONALLY well behaved for his grooming sessions, and scissor trimming his face still makes me very nervous. We had several animals come in to the vet i used to work for, post-owner clip job, needing stitches, as NYboy mentioned!!!

Back to the thread...
I checked out the Farmer's Almanac last September and saw THIS coming!
My horses put on their coats early, and my October chicken butchering came in with a lot of fat on my chickens, who have summer outside quarters.
It's ok, the hay was in the loft by October, and I bought 35 bales of oat straw, so I have enough extra bedding in case I go through my pine shavings. :D
