you know its a cardinal sin not to grow watermelons in texas, whats 4th of july without a ice cold watermelon after a bbq.
lived in texas for 5 years..

I planted watermelons last year and only got 2 melons. I think the dogs had something to do with that. This year I've got 2 different kinds. Hopefully one if them will produce.
