Deeply Rooted
Potato seeds have a very strong germination inhibitor, just like tomato seeds. If you are familiar with saving seeds from tomatoes by fermenting them in some water with a bit of the pulp for a few days in a warm spot, then cleaning and drying them, it's the same. By contrast, the potato berries contain hundreds of tiny seeds, so you'll need a fine sieve when you rinse them off or they'll go down the drain!
