I want to clean out my spice rack and ready it for canning/freezing.
I'd like to grow EVERY kind of spice I need, but I know that I'll have to buy some spices, like cloves and cinnamin.
I'd like to know you how YOU handle your spices. :D

I grow what I can and I just got a wholesale account to get others. I plan on buying in bulk and selling at the farmer's market.

For now I get get stuff from the bulk section at a hippie infested health food store.

I get most of my spices in bulk at the health food store too. But mine wasn't hippie infested till I got there. I am growing a few of the herbs myself and want to do more of them.

Use fresh what I can. Dry and store in air tight jars for the rest.

Chives I freeze.

i also bring stuff in pots in to have access to fresh herbs in the winter.
My basil plant is from last year. It did great inside with some light from a cfl.

I have regular chives year round here so I don't have to store them. I don't plant it. It just pops up. I do want to start some garlic chives though, the nira type for sushi. I've been thinking about some perilla but if my herb garden keeps expanding I'l be running out of room for anything else.
