Yeah, the plastic on those feeders doesn't last too many years. I think I need a new one this year, too. Should have taken advantage of the end of summer sales, I guess.
For anyone who is interested, NatGeo is showing an hour-long program about hummingbirds. Scheduled to air here this Sunday evening, at 8:00 Eastern time. The promo says they can change colors at will. Probably just talking about flashing color by ruffing their feathers? I have never heard of any actually changing color, like a chameleon or a squid.......(if that is what changes color?).....
I have seen my little male hummer several times a day, now, so I hope he is here for the summer.
