To conclude the 24 hour accounting:
At dawn (6:45am) the temperature is 23F outdoors with no noticeable wind.
In the greenhouse the temperature is 27.
So, again this morning, it is only 4 warmer - but freezing - in the greenhouse. The difference between the indoor and outdoor temperature will widen over the next 2 months as the nighttime hours of darkness shorten. This far north, hours of sunlight make a big difference.
Wind will interfere with whatever might be expected. Of course, cloud cover makes a huge difference through the day.
The Weather Service predicts Friday morning temperature to be 1F ! Doggoneit!!
