I think those were popular in the 70''s. It looks nice but I would think that is what they paid for it. I really don't know for sure. Really look at it if you are going to get it. It should go on the south facing side of your house. I had friends that bought one and put it on a very old house. The house was very out of square and I remember the man saying it cost him more to have it installed than the kit cost because of the house. They used it for a sun room not a greenhouse but I think it would grow thinks nicely. I would offer a lot less.
