Looking forward to learning alot .AM interested in medicinal herbs to help my hubby who has copd. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Presently i have,mullein, horseradish, yarrow, chives, garlic, goldenrod,elderberries, dandelion,lavender. wild garlic growing on property. God Bless all and stay safe.

hi and welcome to TEG. :)

i have only known one of those to be used for that purpose (mullein) and i'm not sure how well it does actually work. as to herbs in general since some people can be reactive to various plants i think it is always wise to use small quantities at first to make sure there are no bad reactions.

I trust natural remedies more than medicines of today, that doesn't mean I won't try anything when necessary.

With breathing I found a lovely recipe made into a tea. My choice is as written here you can add to this and drop what you cannot deal with.

Water brought to boil in a pan...
Cut fresh ginger into smaller pieces add a good spoonful of turmeric, cloves and cayenne pepper. Simmer for at least 20 minutes cover and stand to cool a little before adding fresh squeezed lemon and a spoon of local honey, if local honey is unobtainable maybe manuka.
