When I was processing jalepanoes this year--I dehydrate them--I used plastic gloves, but I still ended up with some pieces of hot pepper under my fingernails. Guess it was the cheap gloves!
I wiped my nose with said fingernails. Cleaned up my sinuses nicely. NON narcotic, didn't ingest any chemicals, and I felt better.
As I feel a cold coming in, I think I will rub a dehydrated pepper under my nose soon for some relief.
