Hi!

I found this through BYC, so that mostly tells you my life story. I just have a VERY tiny garden, as the much larger, older one was taken over by an unidentified weed. Hopefully this site will help me identify and eradicate that!
I love Backyard Chickens, and I'm hoping to add The Easy Garden to my list of favorites.

Where are you? That could help a lot with the weed. Photos would be really helpful, leaves, stalk, flowers. Sun or shade? Wet or dry spot? How tall is it? Any thorns? Any smell? Any specific colors associated with it, flowers, leaves or stalk? You never know what one clue can really help.

Weed taking over mulch

I have large mulch beds that get sun almost the entire day. The soil is average, but never muddy, as all excess water runs down our hill. The beds were really nice until for the past few years, this stuff has almost covered them. It looks like a grass, but the stems are fully rounded, not flat...
