So I have a question about hibiscus... There is they type you guys are showing... that has different leaves than one I grew. The one I grew had a yellow flower with a black spot in the center and marijuana like leaves.....

What is the different types? I did save the seeds to get some more next season...... They were so pretty....

JUST KIDDING, but they ARE related. there is a native hibiscus that grows here that sounds as you describe. some type of Mallow.

One person's weeds is another person's flowers!

Thank you for the seed offer. I will send you your postage back. I really love this and appreciate that you are sharing!

I grow rose mallow aka swamp mallowand its extremely hardy.
Mine are still blooming now.
They die back in the winter and come back every spring in full force.
I have them in a deep burgandy and the lighter purple pink.
I have included a link with the same colors as mine.
I highly recommend these.
I get them at the local nursery here for I think $9.99 or $12.99 and they are a huge plant when I buy them.
I got them for all of my children's teachers last year and they went wild for them.
