She can drive you insane with endless questions: how and when did the solar system form, how did life on this planet start, what did Einstein do? And on and on till my head spins. One I love is: "Pop, why do I have to go to school when I already know everything there is to know?" She is frustrated because they don't teach science in the second grade.

Her maternal grandfather asked her how she got to be so smart, she replied: "From hanging around with Pop." I would have given a hundred bucks to have seen the look on his face.
