Canne, never even heard of the movie "UP". I can be in a theater watching a comedy and everyone is cracking up. Me, I just have a little smile. :) I remember once my nephew telling me about the movie "Dumb and Dumber". He could barely tell me the story cause he was laughing so hard. He loaned it to me and after a few minutes I turned it off. Told him it was alittle too much for me.

Mary

It really is the most adorable little movie. It's more sweet and sentimental than funny. It's about an older gentleman who lost the love of his life and through an unexpected adventure together gains a new friend.

Up is one of pixar's best films, it is soooo sweet, and kind of sad.

I almost quit watching that movie watching the first 5 heartbreaking minutes! I did like it, but how horribly sad!

Highjacked threads? I don't think I've seen a thread that wasn't taken off topic at one time or another by the time it reached page 2.

"Frankly, Scarlett. . ." followed by a deep sigh.*

I really don't care if the topic wavers. I read them all and I know how to get back on topic if I want to. Most of the time, these adventures off topic are just plain fun or interesting. While I agree that keeping on topic might help people find past information, I think it would spoil the 'family and friends' aspect of this site.

*That's the closest I ever came to swearing at school. Some days I'd just get so tired of policing rather than teaching that minor complaints got that response. Poor students walked away puzzled and wondering who Frank and Scarlett were or what the colors meant.

I guess I am tired. If I'm rambling on without finishing a thought, it's time for bed --- again.

Well, that does it! I'm a sorta newbe here and I have just spent the past 20 minutes reading every last post in this thread. I'm so upset that I'll never come to this site again! Too many thread hijackers here for me! Too many fruitcakes! Too many self-centered, control freaks, and bullies! I'm gone!
