Does anyone know of a site that shows historical weather data?

I'm specifically looking for monthly averages of both high and low temperatures. Even a daily record would be helpful.

I can get current high and low temps for my location, but historical data keeps defaulting to a large city with a much different climate and longer growing season. :(

I was turned around several times with trying to use the Weather Service's new websites after the change but have learned a little. They have so VERY much information on their public websites - it's almost too much to sort thru. Whatever the case, it takes some time and most of us can't make it our job, we are just interested in a couple of statistics and content to let the rest slide under the bridge.

Okay, let's say that you live south of Seattle, @meadow and this is your WS forecast page. LINK

Down below the 7 days of forecasts you see this:

Click that "Forecast Discussion."

See the "Past Weather" over there under "Climate" in the side bar beside the Discussion from the gov meteorologist?

Click that.

There's a map of the whole country (@Artichoke Lover can use it ;)!). Click your neighborhood.

There you go:

You can go across the top and check out lots of information. (I hope this helps.)
