I once lived near a plant where they processed horseradish. All the workers wore gas masks attached to an airline. Be sure to wear gloves if you process it at home. It can also burn your hide.
BTW don't forget that the greens are also edible. Use them like mustard greens.

Does a tin foil hat help? Are the antennae necessary?
You don't need the antenna to send but you do if you want to pick up messages.
