Perfect description Cane. That file window with your pictures on it looks different on different computers and operating systems, but is figurable. On my little chromebook that's where the real work is because it automatically tries to zip all the photos up in a single file, probably to save on memory. Chromebooks are great basic laptops though.

It occurs to me that Smart may be having the photo problem of getting photos into the computer that some others have.

One thing to do is look around the edges of your laptop for a slot. The slot may have a filler thing in it that presses in, and when pressed in just right, out pops a piece of plastic the same size and shape as the photo card in your camera. That'd be where you put your camera's photo card in.

Some computers have a program that not only retrieves the photos from the card but also clears the card. Other folks think they have to buy a new camera when the old one's card is full, and some buy a new card.

Stoney, mine aren't in shade, just not in direct sun for very long. I'd be glad to dig up some for you.

Thanks Marshall. I'm one of those folks who have been having trouble getting picts ON the computer - from the phone anyway. From my camera, I just plug it in and <Shazam!> there they are with a nice polite little message "would you like to open and view or save?". Speaking of which, I brought the real camera today so I could get some pictures of whatever that wonderfully smelly stuff is under my 'lunch tree'.

Here should be a photo from last year in the hosta bed.

And same bed from another direction.

And here should be the bean towers I made.

Now to see if I have pictures or garble-de-gook.

smart red, i'm so glad for you that you can post pictures. last week I was lamenting I couldn't figure it out. these great people on this forum walked me through it. they were so patient. in your case, it was so worth it. I love hosta (don't have any), and your bed is gorgeous.

It took only a few hours. I had made three the first year and two evaporated over the winter. I hope someone is happy with them - and may they pinch their fingers in the boards.

Treated 2x6 8ft. cut into 2x2's -- One wing-nut at the top -- some cross boards -- a chain from the middle cross board to the (movable) middle 2x2.

That's about it. Because of the wind, DH did tack a 2x2 connecting three towers on each side. They close up for stacking. They just fit over my walk way between the raised beds.
