Great ideas-thanks!

I think I will do the wilting thing-makes sense. I was planning on using a heating pad under the seeds, so hopefully that will give them a head start. We are known for our peppers here in New Mexico, so I'm hoping the little pepper seedlings will realize this and grow properly.:p

After they become established, I think I might slap them around a little and insult them, just to make sure they get a really nasty attitude...:plbb

Hahaha he sounds like my husband...my mission this year is to satisfy him with all the hot peppers he can handle. We'll see how that goes lol...

I've also heard that with peppers and onions both, the less you water the spicier they are. I've never really paid attention to whether it really worked or not.
