I went with smaller companies this year also, www.heirloomseeds.com and www.peppergal.com. I tried to get seeds from heirloom last year but they were only selling large packages by that time. I wasn't that happy with gurney last year. Might have been the weather so I am not going to blast them.

Pepper gal has Hungarian paprika pepper seed for anyone who is interested. First time I've seen them offered.

I have never gotten good results from Gurney. My Baker Creek stuff is doing great!!!

I am especially excited about my Black Cherry Tomato plants. My starters are already about 4" tall!

My stuff from Park Seed has been hit or miss. Cucumbers are doing great. Nothing yet from my spoon tomatoes.

I am a huge fan of BC. Not just for their heirloomness but from their overall nice nice. And with a catelogue like they have. I feel I need to support them. Just so I can have a beautiful piece of art like that.

I'd like to check out Baker Creek. Thanks for the tip.

I had NO luck with Johnny's last year, and I've recently read that many of their seeds come from Monsanto. Like many of you, I'm trying to avoid supporting the GM seed producers.
