How Do You Use Radish ?

Mom would have fresh homemade bread, sweet butter and radish slices. Those simple sandwiches were the only way I would eat radish for a long time.

I never found a good use for radishes, but I see that some people are growing them for the seedpods now. Baker Creek (I think) promoted them last year.
The seed pods of every variety of radish I've grown have tasted better than the roots. Pick them while they are tender.

Cut in 1/2 or 1/4, saute in butter and garlic, yummmmm, raw radish is nasty. May try and make a wine out of them this year, how cool would that be? lol

Oh and yes seed pods are much, much better then the root. Raw in salad or cooked in oriental dishes.
