I thought the platform was like a vice to attach it to a table, and you put the grapes in the funnel and turn the handle to push them through the little riveted thing.... almost like a meat grinder... I've never even heard of a raisin seeder though so I was just guessing... :idunno

I agree with this. I'm not sure what the actual mechanism inside looks like though. Why would you not just get juice or crushed pulp out?

No, but grapes do.
I think we need to have a consultation with the California Raisin Association about this. Maybe they can set us straight on this perplexing issue.
