I check it 1 - 2 times a day. My craigslist ad replies to there (when I'm trying to sell something), alot of my VRBO inquiries or continued conversations go there, and sometimes a few more slip in.

I started receiving almost 100 a day with the first part of my em addy in the subject line: ie: if my em address was murphysranch @ xxx. com, then the subject line would be "murphysranch:". I went to a few places and found out if I put a filer in my yahoo ATT mail settings for all "murphysranch:" to be spam, then they didn't come thru AT ALL! It worked!

We have a file set up for spam, but it doesn't get checked very often. I like the ability to let the e-mail know if something should be relabeled as spam or not spam, so that anything else from that address will be sent to the appropriate file.

I just went and checked my spam folder and I had 68 messages.
After 30 days they are automatically deleted if I haven't taken any action.
I should amend my "never" to "once in awhile', since if I'm expecting a message and haven't received it I check there. But that's a pretty rare instance.
I don't do too much with my email, my business one is pretty much limited to communicating with clients and billing, and my personal one is fairly quiet, since people have a tendency to quit sending when you don't respond.

I check my spam at least twice a day when I check my mail. Seldom is there anything I want, but E-mails I am waiting for do get routed into spam at times. That means I get a pat on the back twice a day when "congratulations, your spam folder is empty," shows up.
