Hey guys, thanks for the replies! I'm now the proud owner of a KitchenAid. LOL! I told my BFF at work today about it and she about freaked - told me I'd better buy it so I did. She comes over on the weekends and we cook - I think she's more excited than I am!

You won't be sorry. I wanted one for 20 years but couldn't justify spending the money on myself. I finally got one 10 years ago and have been kicking myself that I could have had it all along!

Good choice! Your BFF must be a smart person. ;) We got one as a wedding gift 13 years ago, and I absolutely LOVE it. We also have attachments for shredding and pasta. I thought it was all a bit pricey in the beginning, but it's totally worth it.

Enjoy your new toy! That is if your BFF will let you have a turn with it.

Ahhh.... glad Cat asked because I have several kitchenaid appliances. My foodprocesser being extremely useful for my canning. My mixer would be better if I bought all the attachments, which I have not. Someday maybe! It was an awesome wedding gift though, I do use it for bread, cookies, pies, whipping cream....ect. It sure is handy and gets used weekly all year, and daily from now until Christmas! lol
