@Carol Dee my 5 year old granddaughter still sleeps with the baby quilt you made for her. Every so often I tell her of the love of a dear friend I never even met face to face, that loved her before she was born and made that quilt for her. I tell her of the love in every stitch and how she is wrapped in love. She loves hearing that.

I am convinced that there is no amount of thank you or gratitude to ever convey how treasured you are by every member on this forum. You are one special lady with more kindness and love in the tip of your little finger than most folks have in their whole body.
Yep, what she says!

How's everything going for you today? @ everyone.

For me it's a real burner of a day right now.
Luckily I managed to get a walk in keeping in the shady areas in a beautiful place this morning.
I feel blessed to have my dog and nice people around, at a distance of course but still in my life.

I've not been in for a couple of days but I always like to read how you all are :love

I was a census worker for two weeks or so. The massive training/communication/supervisors/leadership etc was the most horrible mess I've ever experienced in my corporate life. Then driving hither and yon in rural White City for two days with an iphone eight that only lasted for three hours on full charge battery life - I threw in the towel and quit. I thought of you, Baymule, when you quit the nursing home job.

A day later I got a full time paper pusher job working from home for a bank in Michigan! I start Monday for this 90 day gig. My pocketbook will really appreciate this effort.

They may have set that phone up like that so you couldn't get all the way to Brownsboro, on the other side of Eagle Point, to count anyone there.

IKR! After the first day, I borrowed an external battery pack and when it went from 100 to 12% in three hours, I plugged it in and kept the charger in my satchel, while interviewing folks. That lasted all day for my required shift.

That’s a short term job! LOL Some jobs you just have to get far, far away from! Glad you have something better lined up.

Hey Marshall! I bet your ears were ringing a while back, when the conversation turned to you. It was all good stuff, I assure you. I hope you are doing well and managing to avoid the worst of the illnesses going around.
I'm not on here as much as I used to be. I am on several forums but just can't seem to get that old enthusiasm back; hardly ever visit some of them. :( This social distancing is for the birds. I feel like I have withdrawn from the world. Oh well. Next year will be better. We hope.
