On one of the you-tube videos of a chicken floating/swimming, it seemed the chicken got lower and lower in the water. I think it would have eventually sunk, if the boys hadn't gotten it out. So they must just float till their feathers get saturated. However, I saw a couple of short videos in which the chicken was swimming like a duck. Definitely going someplace. Got to the bank, hopped out and ran off to follow the other chickens.
