Tim the Tool Man? Say it isn’t so! Before the funny man made audiences laugh on family friendly shows like “Tool Time”, and later just alienated fans on the anything but funny “Last Man Standing”, Allen faced major legal troubles. At the age of 25, Allen was busted smuggling 650 grams of cocaine across a border. Cited for drug trafficking, Allen pled guilty to the charges in order to avoid facing a possible life sentence.


After a serving a little over two years in prison, Allen was paroled and set his sights on building his career.

I vaguely remember something shady about his past. I enjoyed his show for the first few years, but, like Everybody Loves Raymond, it got old and tired after a while.

I think they just eventually run out of story lines. Same old-same old.

I did like the first show with "Tim, the tool man", but never watched "Last Man Standing." I think I grew up a bit between airings.
