I Can Not Let Them Get Eaten

My next door neighbor just called crying. A stray cat had kittens under her shed. The mother disappeared 3 days ago. She went out to feed the kittens just in time to see a fox carry one off. He will be back till all are gone. I told her bring kittens to kennel. Last thing I need right now are wild kittens in need of a home.

That is not what the fox thinks. He needs to eat as well.....

Last week I had to go to vets. In waiting room there is a bulletin board. It was filled with lost cat flyers. Poor people are never going to find their cats.

I probably wouldn't be popular, but cats on the loose are coyote or fox bait. People with missing cat posters? Somebody needs to tell them the facts of predator life.

And...I'll add to Bay's premise. Over population of feral cats? This is the solution, I'm afraid. Let the fox have his meals and then no one is complaining about the feral cats.

That's how life goes....everything is eventually food for another creature and that's just natural. Fox gotta eat.
