So many weeds suddenly showed up...spent 2hrs ripping most of them out. Got a picture of some possible 5 linked skink eggs that I found while weeding and then the rain suddenly showed up.

And yes, there is a pink tint to them.

I hate grass was the headline. I'm a few pages behind on this thread, but I had to post.

In Coeur D'Alene ID for a few days visiting one of DH's older bros. There is so much green here, including sumptuous grass, that I laid down on it for an hour. It smells great, felt great, and I laid there in the green with my eyes closed and ears open for almost an hour, listening to living sounds. I love grass cus its green.

I should of spent the money on concrete pavers instead of mulch....I'm so tired of weeding! =/
At this point, you can't even see the mulch or other plants!

As I've mentioned in the past, I am not a purist. I am not totally against chemical solutions in areas away from my food stuffs. I use chemical solutions as sparingly as possible where beneficials tend to do their work, but between cracks in the pavers/sidewalks, a chemical solution beats laying on my tummy digging weeds out with a butter knife and having the neighbor lady (not mine of course) call 911.

Lol!
Yeah, weeding between cracks is so much better than weeding the whole yard! =0
I've been so much more busy this year with new aheep, puppies, new land and fencing it, flooding and some other things I'm forgetting that I have had almost no time to weed enough to keep on top of it.
