Or dig out plants to keep, round up the area. Let grow back-water it-then round up again. Plant and mulch.

This year has been chaos, nothing got done, no veggie garden, no corn, no weeding, nothing. I just want to skip to next year, lol.

Just remembered I still have old pond liner, carpet runners and pool liner I could use to smoother the mess with!

Not a big fan of smothering out weeds-especially grasses. Their roots can live for years.

Cut the side off the pool liner. Will cut the side into strips and lay them around the plants I want to keep. Bottom of liner will kill off huge sections at a time.
IDK why I didn't think of it sooner....Will also use the strips on the driveway.
