Im sorry but this is the coolest thing I have ever seen.
I am going to try to grow 2 of these and then design a nice patio around them.
Says it takes roughly 10 years to grow something like this, I got plenty of time.
Where I live, lots of people walk their dogs and ride their bikes and go jogging, imagine all the conversations that Ill have with my neighbors when they see me lounging on my live chair....

I dunno, maybe you guys have already seen the Tree Chair, but I just found it recently while researching my fruit cocktail tree.

Gotta think outside the box....

Now that's cool! I wonder what kind of tree it is and if the branches were grafted into position? I read the article, but there wasn't much detail.

When my sister bought her house several years ago, there was a silver maple in her back yard that had been cut down, flush with the ground and had many sprouts growing up from it, all less than 1/2" in diameter. I cut off most of them and braided the remaining three together and tied it off at the top. Now it is a big tree and the braid is still there, fused together. I've seen people braid and weave willow whips into all sorts of things too, arches, etc.
