I love Christmas cactuses!

It's even blooming at Christmas! Yay, cactus!

We have one who seems to think growing in the walkway is a good thing, it was there when we bought the property (which hadn't been lived in for decades) and the cactus has survived there for several years now with people stepping over it, which I think is amazing but it only blooms when it wants to and doesn't seem to have a calendar noting Christmas. I've made some cuttings from it and relocated those so other places, but they didn't get the Christmas memo, either.

I have also planted multiple cuttings with Christmas cactus and found they are so easy to grow! My kind of plant!

We have a VERY old Christmas cactus it has been in the family for generations. MIL gave it to me about 30 years ago, her MIL gave it to her. We have MANY cuttings started and shared. Here it is in its winter location.

Wow! That's the largest Christmas cactus I have ever seen and it's even flowering!
