I found in NY if they get water all summer they don't yellow and go dormant till fall

Building a flower bed across the front of the house is on my list, but it is not a high priority right now. I want to seal off the porch with cinder blocks to keep the dogs from getting under it, then go out 3 feet and build a raised flower bed.

I planted Dicentra in garden. He grew up and behaved well. Beauty Astilbe grows near. She promised to break his heart in the future year.

Now I want to Dicentra exima , too.
