Bath oils !!!! Have a large collection of bath oils. Fill tub warm water, add 5 or 6 oils, glass of wine, long soak. towel dry, feel great.

Welllllllll.... the tub is where the cat's bowls are. The dogs can't get to them there. That tub hasn't held water since my SIL was living with me. It's one of those 'garden tubs' and drains the hot water heater to fill anyway.
Probably a silly question... but I've never understood the bath oil thing. Doesn't the oil float on top of the water??? So until you get out - draging a layer of oil with you - aren't you just soaking in water? Wouldn't a warm shower followed by applying some oil work just as well?
Think I'll try that tonight. Waking up itching and with 'claw marks' on my legs and stomach is getting old already.

Mary my cleaning lady never complains about it. Vitabath works great try it Cane, oils mix not sure how. Soaking you get every inch of your body covered. Back is a hard place to apply oil after a shower, unless you have a friend put it on for you.

At night I become a "mouth breather" and when I wake up, I feel like my tongue is shoe leather.
I have tried humidifiers but they are so noisy, they keep me awake. I need to move somewhere warm and damp. whine, whine, whine:(

Ever try those "Breathe Right" strips? They work wonders for me... the real thing, not the also rans.. . especially when used with a little Petroleum Jelly to keep the nose from drying out. I get the largest size and find I can cut them in half to get good results. These guys are NOT CHEAP, way overpriced for a tiny bit of plastic, IMHO, but they do work for me.
