I set 33 eggs! This will be my first time incubating anything. I’m excited but nervous. I don’t think I’ll calm down until I candle in 8 days. Honestly I’ll probably be a wreck until they are all 4 weeks old lol.

Chicks are starting to hatch! I’m a giant bundle of nerves right now. Probably won’t sleep until they are all safe in the brooder lol.

Go grab some fruit and chop it up. Then put it over two scoops of vanilla ice cream and enjoy. Nothing else you can do but chill. Try to get a good night's sleep, I'll be looking forward to your posts tomorrow.

The first one hatched about an hour ago! I have 12 more that have pipped and 18 with no progress so far.

The hatch is finally over out of the 33, 32 were fertile and 28 survived hatching!

How do you get feeding ice cream to baby chicks out of this? They hadn't even hatched yet.

I think this clearly says the ice cream and fruit is for AL. Nothing to do but try to relax and grab some sleep. When life threatens to overwhelm you go grab some ice cream and take a minute to get yourself together. Think pleasant thoughts. The fruit is just a bonus.
