I agree it has to be a spicy or of the hot type as it is growing up. My DH loves hot peppers.
I wondered if it was a pimento ? They are not always hot as they are spicy and sweet. If a Hot Cherry pepper they are wonderful pickled and you can pickle them sweet. You should give it a try you may like it
But either way it is a very good looking pepperplant you have done very well with your garden. :happy_flower
You are so lucky! I tried to grow cherry peppers this year but none sprouted. I don't remember these being very hot, but I love hot food so I am a poor judge. I have seen these peppers stuffed with prosciutto and parmesean and marinated in in olive oil. They are awesome!
