I love magnolias. they're so regal. not planting any here though. if it doesn't like hot AND dry - it doesn't belong in my landscape.

They were selling "pink" and some kind of red, so I guess I'll find out. Don't have ANY IDEA of the actual name bc the clearance tag said "magnolia" and I do recognize the leaves. :gig

I have a lot of customers that have them here in FL. They are beautiful but they make a big mess.

Little Jane Magnolias are the deciduous kind and should grow well for you!

Couldn't get it in the ground THIS year, so it went into the big tree pot and into a big hole in my garden. It's looking good, having lost all it's leaves BUT has several healthy buds on each tiny limb. Still I need to blanket it with some more compost.
