They worked on my borage all Winter but it was starting to go yellow so I had to take it out. I'll start another in late Summer so they will have it again next Winter. I have a tall (about 8 feet) succulent in one corner of my cactus garden that has huge orange flower heads on it. It only blooms once a year but when it's in bloom they ignore everything else. I think it's a yucca of some sort or it may be an aloe. I'm not sure. Right now their favorite is a row of pak choy that went to flower.

We have gone as far as letting our first round of spring weeds bloom and keep going. We don't do an early mow until after the orchard trees bloom completely.

I also am ordering clover as ground cover around the orchard to keep the bees well fed for quite some time.

The roses and the veggie garden are great of course, but we made sure to have lots of flowering trees around us for them as well.

We'll also be planting poppies and self sowing wildflowers around the pond to produce from spring into fall.

Our hive will be up and our bees here on April 1st! HOORAY

No one has mentioned Lavender, but I find that bees really love it.

Keep the ideas flowing. How about structures? I want to have a nice article to post from all this juicy stuff! It is so wonderful to have the luxury of all your minds!!!!!!

Yes indeed. I have some Spanish lavender that they constantly work on. I like it because it has such a long bloom period.
