Im going to have a break down!

I've been stuck inside for the past 3 days with a sinus infection, a high fever and a slight case of vomiting. Not to mention a HORRIFIC cough. My garden is going great, and I cant even go outside. My mom has me on lockdown until Im better and its driving me mad. My dad watered my garden for me, which I was very grateful for. But I want to water it! I want to weed it! The weeds are getting crazy, and Im stuck inside staring at them through the kitchen window. I even had to trick my mother into letting me go out today!


I told her I couldnt see the goats, so we grabbed some bread as a treat and went outside, and I grabbed a bowl on the way out. So she went and gave them some bread and I went hunting through the garden. I picked 10 cherokee purple tomatoes, 1 kellogs breakfast tomato, 1 evergreen tomato, 3 conestogas(? I forgot if that's how its spelled ) tomatoes, and about 15 little sun sugar tomatoes. Oh, and an eggplant, 3 anaheim peppers, 2 chile rellano stuffing peppers and 4 tomatillos. It was nice to be able to step outside and pick some stuff, but I sure miss being out there all day long!

The doc said I should be ok in a few days, he's got me on some antibiotics and all the fun stuff. I hope you all are having a fun, healthy time in your gardens! I'll join you all soon. :watering

Oh no,

Was it the Swine Flu? I sure hope your mom is loading you full of Vitamin C.

I am sure the weeds will still be there when you get back LOL. I know, about 10 times that and twice as tall, I can turn my back for a day or two and discover a forest where there once was a garden.

although I think you could enjoy some fresh air and it would probably do you good!

but I am the type of mom who feels fresh air cures everything

Hi folksss....

Nope, no swine flu, haha. Im feeling a lot better today. Im still congested, but Im doing well. I went outside for a little bit yesterday to show my grandma my garden and it wore me out! I was totally dead the rest of the day, so Im definitely still in the process of getting better. Thanks for the kind words, and believe me, the weeds are still there!

glad you are better!!! there is nothing worse than being sick in the summer! ok being sick at all is miserable but in the summer

it seems so much worse I think!
