I heard about an heirloom tomato where you break off the parts like grapes. Is that one of those?

No, Hoodie, that is a Ceylon.

It isn't a cherry but is almost that small. I had quite a bit of trouble with it splitting in my garden so only grew it once.

Yes, I've read about that variety you mention but know nothing about it.

Super cute!

My husband however, who spent 20 years lobbying for organic legislation and wrote a grant to keep open pollenated seeds documented and non-patented, would say this is an abhoration. He is a bit of a purest when it comes to seed genetics!

You may use any of my tomato pictures, April.

I'm not sure of the heritage of my current tomato. It went in the bucket with too many others.

The Ceylon is an heirloom variety or open-pollinated at the least. Most of the Ceylon fruits look about like that one.
