Well, you may be in luck but you will have to look at the label, Mary.

Critters that crawl and slime around on the ground and eat seedlings are often slugs, snails, earwigs, and sow bugs (rolly polies). There is an organic bait that kills them all. It contains both Spinosad and iron phosphate. It's the iron phosphate that kills the slugs & snails. The Spinosad kills the others. You can buy just the slug & snail killer so be sure it is for all of them with both ingredients.

They are beautiful! The are way bigger than my plants and they are about the same age. I am starting to think my problem is not enough heat. My house is cold at night when the fire goes out. The plants get heat from the lights, but it is not enough.

The thermostat is set at 61° overnight. Same as in the house. Silly about the 1° but we all have our comfort levels .

Because of that large plastic film wall and shelves/bench at 3 different levels, there is a lot of different temperatures in the greenhouse. That thermostat is several feet above the bench.

The ones with "disturbed" roots from up-potting are set right down on the floor, out of daytime sun. They are there for several days and my remote thermometer shows 53°, overnight. Brrr!

Lots of time left before setting out in our neck of the woods.

I just did my MycoBlast fertilizer treatment today on my transplants to get their root growth stimulated more. Once I opened the shades in my house I realized it had snowed. We currently have 11inches of snow out there and it looks like a blizzard. I don't think ill ever get spring.

It is not fair, HPQ!

It also isn't fair that we didn't get 11" on the ground on any day this winter! I'd better not complain about that. Canada was very good to us and our mountains here had a fair amount of snow! Still do since there has not been any sudden warmth. And, I will just mention this casually -- nor much spring rain.

Oh, we need a little normalcy . . .

All the snow was finally melted this weekend and it was so nice. Then the winds picked up on Monday and the snow moved in. I'm at work watching the snow come down and it hasn't let up at all. I have to be here until 9:00pm.
