I forgot the spuds!

I'll go back and edit in the potatoes and the half dozen kale plants but there will be lots more things as we get past our last frost. And, more varieties added of what is already sown.

I'm not sure if I'm going to continue with an inventory - I could turn into a nervous wreck! There are always things I forget to plant every year just like there are seeds I forget to order! Both of these experiences is terribly frustrating for me :/. I suppose I could put down a list of what I "intend" to plant and refer back to it frequently so that I don't miss anything. Still, I'm doing the succession plantings as usual and I'd have to refer back for months & months! Ack! Gardening is supposed to be more spontaneous than that!

Thanks yet again, because I forgot the Yukon gold and Russet potatoes!

And here I am thinking I need a few more peppers and another 10x10 feet of garden to add on to what I got for next year. Someone stop me!!!

I wish we could all get together in our own community garden, we'd all have the most amazing variety of plants in the world. And we'd have to have weekly garden meals we all prepare together. We'd all leave 100% off of our own gardens and animals, I just know it. :D

I vote for most of us getting a zone 8, but make a south corner have a zone good for Cacao and Coffee, and we'll need a north corner that has a good zone 4.

This is gonna have to be a huge commune!

What incredible vast gardens you all have!! I am a little envious!

This past weekend I was able to put in

Red Acer Beets
Peas
Summer Crisp Lettuce
Romane Lettuce
Yukon Potatoes
and
Emu Spinach

Thats all for now. I will have to wait until the weather/soil gets a bit warmer for the rest.

What's actually in the garden? Not much yet. A few varieties of lettuce, sugar snap peas, snow peas, red pontiac and kennebec potatoes. That's it. I won't put anything else out until mid-late May. The hoop house is a different story though ;)
