My raised strawberry bed is made out of salvaged pressure treated lumber. It was old and weathered when I got it and I asked a similar question on here and was told that most of the chemicals will leach out in the first year or so and after that it's fine.

I used pressure treated landscape timbers when I first moved here. (1991) Over the last three years I had to tear them all out as they eventually rotted. (they lasted about 15 years) Now I use stone, brick, or concrete block. Stone don't rot. JMHO
